About

Hey there!  My name is Maggie and I am so excited you dropped by!

I have a good life.  I am married to the man of my dreams, Mace.  I have two unbelievably amazing daughters, Anna who is four and Claire who is two.  Last year we moved from Montana, where I fell in love with my husband, my daughters and life.  We moved back to my hometown in Minnesota where we're settling in, and loving our lives.  Oh, life is good.

The rest of our family is scattered about the country, literally from coast to coast.  If distance isn't the devil, then I don't know what is.  Its got to be the the hardest thing in the world to miss someone and I've got a whole lot of people to miss.  But I've also got to say...Lucky me!  I have a whole lot of love in my life and I never ever take that for granted.

Besides my awesome family, my passion/obsession lies in the kitchen. My family and friends are my inspiration in the kitchen, so their pictures, stories and unconditional love will appear frequently on this site.  I love to cook, I love to bake and I love to try my hand at new recipes.  There is often nothing I'd rather be doing.

I am a poultrytarian (I suppose there's a real word for that out there, but I like mine), and was a vegetarian for 15 years, so you are bound to see lots of veggie and poultry-laden meals here.  Not to fret though, I do experiment with meat from time to time to try and gain some mad meat makin' skills.  And my husband never complains about these experiments, so I must be doing all right.

Thanks for peeking at my blog.  I love sharing my passion for food with anyone and everyone who is willing to listen...and of course eat!

While I am still learning about photography, I am proud of the work I've done to date. You are welcome to use any of my images, but please ask me first and give credit where credit is due.

The same goes for the recipes contained here.  I love sharing my creations and only ask that you respectfully link back to my site if you are posting a recipe from Kitchie Coo.

If you would like me to do a product review on Kitchie Coo, please contact me by email. I love trying out new tools and ingredients and would be honored for the opportunity to work with you.

You may contact me anytime at mkwescott@kitchie-coo.com.  I love hearing from you!

Happy reading, cooking and loving!

~Maggie
